Deletion flow

1

Start securely

Use Household → Manage account → Delete account, or this public route with the account email.

2

Confirm in the app

A signed-in customer reviews the deletion warning and confirms before the account and synchronized data are removed.

3

Verify web requests

For a web case, RELAY verifies control of the account without demanding unnecessary sensitive identity documents.

What deletion covers

  • the user account, password-verification data, active sessions and profile;
  • the household profile, members, responsibilities, related notes and preferences owned by the account;
  • eligible product-learning events and reports linked to the signed-in device;
  • processor copies through documented deletion work;
  • backup copies when their restricted rotation expires.

Synchronized household information

The current account model deletes the household data owned by that account. The confirmation shown in the app makes this scope clear before deletion.

Limited exceptions

Minimal information may be isolated when required for security, fraud prevention, legal claims or a valid legal hold. It cannot be used for product analytics and must be removed when the basis ends.

Timelines and confirmation

In-app deletion is processed when the signed-in customer confirms it. A web request creates a case with a reference so identity and account control can be verified before deletion.

Web requestsSubmitting this form starts a case; it does not immediately delete data. Use in-app deletion for the direct signed-in flow.
